The Linup this time…

Dave Eagle: With David being blind, his comedy often explores how his disability means the most ordinary, commonplace events are turned into surreal and convoluted dramas. Occasionally he dons his accordion (often as a spiteful repost to hecklers) and performs one of his comedy songs, such as his George Formby parody, described by the Guardian as “a comic tour de force.”
Having previously conquered the world of folk music, enjoying all of the trappings that come with it – the money, the glamour and the women, David branched out into stand up. In 2019 he was crowned New Comedian of The Year by Leicester Square Theatre and won new act competitions at Bath and Nottingham Comedy Festivals.
He has been nominated Best Newcomer at the Chortle Awards and David now graces many a stage on the professional comedy circuit. He is tipped for the top.
"A genuine stand-up rookie phenomenon! Looking forward to hearing more." – Reginald D Hunter
"Brilliant, Nuts. Heartily recommend." – Rufus Hound

Finlay Christie: At 19, Finlay became one of the youngest ever winners of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny competition, following in the footsteps of Peter Kay, Lee Mack and Sarah Millican. 3 years later, his debut Edinburgh show “OK Zoomer” was nominated for NextUp’s “Best Show” award and was released as a special in October 2023, with over 365,000 views. His material, based around his experience as a Gen Z, led Chortle to describe him as “the voice of his generation”.
His 2024 Fringe show “I Deserve This” received multiple 5 star reviews, won the Entertainment Now “WoW” award and was nominated for the ISH “Best Show” award. The Guardian described it as “Comedy gold” and Edinburgh Festivals Magazine stated there was “Barely a single joke that wasn’t a fresh zinger.”
His YouTube channel, featuring sketches and stand-up clips has over 450k subscribers. He has produced multiple online series, including “When they go to a foreign country in a Hollywood film” and “Asking black and white people the same questions about…”. He has produced branded content for Amazon Prime, Branston, Olli Olli World and Spotlight Oral Care.
He has appeared on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), The Stand-Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Comedy Central Live, Person on a Chair (Channel 4), The BBC New Comedy Awards, Get Off My Phone! (Dave) and Jokes Only An AI Can Tell (Channel 4). He has performed at Montreal’s Just For Laughs festival, Capital XTRA Comedy Club and across Europe for the Comedy Store.
"Comedy gold… Pleasingly black-hearted wit." – The Guardian
"A phenomenally gifted live comic." – The Scotsman

Toussaint Douglass is one of comedy’s most exciting and talked about new names and is already making serious waves across the industry. His innovative brand of stand up mixes the personal with the political, whilst adding a uniquely absurdist slant to brilliant comic effect.
His extensive list of credits include BBC Presents: Stand Up For Live Comedy, The News Quiz and Dead Ringers on BBC Radio 4
“He creates vivid, slightly absurd, images of his life…but it’s skilfully concealed beneath a charming quirkiness. One of the best and most distinctive acts” – Chortle

Matt Green is an accomplished actor, writer, and stand-up comedian. He has appeared in Doctor Who (BBC One), Romesh Ranganathan’s Avoidance (BBC One), The Witchfinder (BBC Two), Fresh Meat (Channel 4), Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace (Channel 4), Extras (BBC Two), and Late-Night Mash (Dave) to name a few. He has also performed Stand up at all the top Comedy clubs across the country.
